Draft the agreement precisely. The agreement should record the property description, exact price, payment schedule, possession date, and the responsibility for transfer fees and taxes.
Complete the transfer at the society office in the presence of both parties or their authorised representatives, and keep certified copies of every document you sign.
For high-value transactions, engage a lawyer experienced in property matters in that specific city. Documentation quality is what protects both the buyer and the seller.
